There is an emptiness that lies within many people. They go to church but no longer feel the zeal that fuels their relationship with God. Some others no longer go to church and are struggling with the fact that God loves them, these emotions can cause us to question God's nature.

We may even begin to scrutinize ourselves to the point of self-condemnation. Why don't we seem to ĕt anymore? Have you ever asked these kinds of questions?
Referring again to our text above, Romans 12:11 says we should “not be
lacking in zeal, but keep our spiritual fervour in serving the Lord.”
Keeping our spiritual fervour / zeal is about having conĕdence in the Word of God; in the good news of Christ.

It is about the ĕre, passion and excitement that comes from understanding that the Word works; it is for you and it is for
the world around you.

 It is also about convictions. We cannot convince others of what we are not convinced about or that we have not believed! Spiritual zeal comes from the renewal of the mind.

 It is through the Holy Spirit that we receive fervour & passion to serve the Lord. Our fervour does not come from our circumstances or how we feel about them, but it comes consistency in participating in spiritual habits.

It is the Holy Spirit working through us that causes us to overĘow and to boil with a passion
to serve the Lord.

Rom. 12:11
1.In Jesus Name, Lord, I declare that I am energized by the ĕre of the Holy Spirit.

2. I receive your strength to be wholehearted in all I do for You, making the most of every opportunity to give faithful witness to Your work in my life and in the lives of those who I reach for your sake.

3. I will not grow weary in service of You and I will reap a bountiful harvest in this
life and most especially in the life to come. Amen.

Prayer Points:
1. Father, in the name of Jesus, let the
zeal of your kingdom burn within
me and make me a tool for the
propagation of the gospel of Jesus
Christ. Psalm 69:9.

2. Father, teach me through your
Word the act of surrendered-ness
and sacriĕce to the things of God.
Lord help me burn for you. Mark
8:34-35 .

3. Father, my heart and soul thirst
aer the goodness and the presence
of you Lord, as if I was in a dry and
thirsty land where there is no water.
Fill me Lord in Jesus Name. Psalm
143:6 .
