Uhonmora school cry for help

Today we shall be talking about one of the commercial school in Uhonmora in Owan West local government area of Edo State.

Uhonmora Secondary Commercial School, in Owan West Local Govt., Area of Edo State was founded in 1979. The school have since produced well meaning individuals, scholars and professionals in all facets of Nigeria's national life.

THE late Pa Jonathan Asijie Aidokhai (Boy O Boy) was born on July 18, 1935 to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Eimi Aidokhai of Uhonmora – Ora, Owan West local council of Edo State.
As a man deeply convinced about the importance of education, he initiated steps that led to the establishment of Uhonmora Secondary Commercial School in 1979.

Today the said Uhonmora Secondary commercial school that was built through community effort and later handed over to the government has become a "tourist attraction and water fall".

Today Nigeria is celebrating her 59 independent and Uhonmora secondary school is celebrating waterfall in her class rooms. I do not understand the fact if we are celebrating our 59 years of lack of maintenance, lack of infrastructure, bad roads or rejoice that the future of the young ones in the class room have become waterfall.

We plead to the ministry of education to look in to this and help the future of the student and also the people of Owan West.
